Dr. Mai Nguyen
Dr. Nguyen was born and raised in Texas. She attended the University of Texas at Dallas where she completed her undergraduate studies. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in 2012.
During her time at the University of Houston, she received extensive training in diagnosis and management of eye conditions including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and dry eye syndrome. In her career, she has participated in missions trips in under-developed countries to help people obtain access to healthcare. Dr. Nguyen has a special interest in primary care, cataract comanagement, contact lens fittings and working with children. She has been practicing as an independent optometrist at this location since 2014.
She is a member of the Texas Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association and the Dallas County Optometric Society.
Dr. Kimberly McLean
Dr. Kimberly McLean grew up in Carrollton, Texas. She attended the University
of North Texas where she earned her bachelor's degree. She furthered her education and training at the University of Houston College of Optometry where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2001. She has been practicing in the Dallas area since then, while focusing on primary care practice and contact lens fittings.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association and the Dallas County Optometric Society. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, travel, and exploring the Dallas area for its restaurants, entertainment and arts.
Dr. David Alonso
Dr. David Alonso was born in California and moved to the Lone Star State at a young age. He was raised in Grand Prairie, TX and attended the University of Texas at Arlington where he received a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
After graduating from UTA, he attended the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he received his Doctorate of Optometry Degree.
He is a licensed therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. In his spare time, he enjoys running, travelling, and exploring new restaurants.
